On October 1st, 2007, Cecilia Freire - Marketing Manager of Hewlett Packard - alongside Carolina Narduzzi – from HP Internal Communications - visited ORT.


The HP Tablet-PCs based classroom project, developed by the Technology Education Area along with the CREA (Resource Center for Teaching and Learning) has begun its initial phase, which will last until the end of 2009, involving about 20 teachers and more than 1600 students.


On October 1st, 2007, Cecilia Freire - Marketing Manager of Hewlett Packard -, alongside Carolina Narduzzi – from HP Internal Communications- visited the CREA.  In their lecture, they highlighted the academic level of ORT schools, a reason why ORT has been chosen as Grant recipient.
They were hosted by authorities from ORT Technical School, teachers and students.


Some topics discussed were: 

  • Characteristics of the school and its curriculum. 
  • Characteristics of the project. 
  • Development of the first phase of HP Tablet PCs project.
